Summer weather invites LOTS of bugs…who may want to live with YOU in YOUR South Shore home!

Do YOU know which pests to watch out for…?

•Termites
•Spiders
•Crickets
•Centipedes
•Pavement, carpenter ants
•Carpenter Bees, wasps, yellow jackets
•Mosquitoes

PREVENTION TIPS!

•Look for cracks and openings in your home’s exterior. Walk around  outside. Seal any cracks
•with an exterior sealant. Check openings in windows and doors as well.
•Keep trees, shrubs, and firewood AWAY from the sides of your house.
•Insects use plants and even grass to cross over and into your home.
•Create a barrier for insects who live in these shrubs.
•Watch out for grass  growing up against your foundation!
•Termites like to live in firewood. Keep it off the ground and far away from your house!
•Keep kitchen and trash clean and sealed. A messy pantry is a party invitation for ants!
•Use airtight containers, clips, and bags for your food. Keep crumbs off the counter and floor.
•Trashes with lids and trash liners are a MUST!
•Watch out for nests! Bees and wasps have a habit of making nests in attics, rafters, and vents.

If you find nests, call your local pest control company. Stinging insects can be very dangerous!

Keep you and your home safe and pest free!
