Buying a home on the South Shore?

First…what can you afford? Get preapproved with a bank; mortgage broker or credit union.

Find out how much of loan you qualify for based on your income, debt and credit score.

Second…pick a real estate agent to help you find the right home, negotiate on your behalf ,

and help you navigate the process. Interview!  Find a good fit!  (make sure he/she is a reputable agent!)

(DON’T confuse your WANTS with your NEEDS!!)

Many home buyers  dismiss homes that perfectly fit their needs in search for one that has their wants.

(Home buying is more often defined by your budget than wish lists!!)
